Wired Music Week, Le Bureau Export | CNM and the French Embassy in Singapore have launched an innovative digital project for artists (producers, songwriters ) from Asia and France to meet and create together. The objective: to release and promote the songs they will have composed at the start of 2021, while working on synchronization opportunities.
About Wired Music Week
Wired Music Week is Southeast Asia’s premier conference and festival dedicated to electronic music. Installed in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) since 2018, Wired Music Week has become the benchmark platform for international music players.
WMW’s first collaboration with Le Bureau Export / CNM in July 2020, during a renowned online edition Get Wired (Get Wired: Connect France) made it possible to create the links and launch a long-term collaboration .
The selected artists
On the French side: from many excellent applications, the following were selected.
- Coco Bans – Warner Chappell Music France / Junzi / The Pool
- Aslove – Unity Publishing / Warner Chappell
- SŪN JÙN 孙 骏– Jeune à Jamais / Alter K
- Antoine Chambe – Roy Music
- Thérèse – La Couveuse / Chancy Publishing
As for the Asian artists: the following were selected by the Wired Music Week team.
- MFMF. (Malaysia) – Songwriting, Producer | Alternative Pop
- Ramengvrl (Indonesia) – Songwriting, Rapper | Hiphop
- BOTCASH (Thailand) – Producer | Electronic
Over a four-week period starting Monday, January 11, pairs will be working online, with the goal of writing one track per week for the first three weeks. The last week will be reserved for refining these three productions.
At the end of the four weeks, an online listening session will be organized with the participating artists, their professional entourage and professional guests from Asia and France.
The entourage of each duo will work on the release of at least one of the 3 titles produced during the session, before April 30, 2021. These titles will be promoted in France and Asia by the respective partners and will be included in the catalogs of the beneficiaries, respective rights, for synchronizations or other uses.
