Europe | Incoming : webinar “Classical Music Trends in Italy, Spain and Portugal” (4th December, 11:30 AM- 1PM)

As part of our online series (From) Home Export Days, Le Bureau Export | Centre national de la musique (CNM) presents “Classical Music Trends in Italy, Spain and Portugal” covering the trends currently at stake in those three countries. The webinar will be livestreamed on Friday 4th December, 11:30 AM – 1PM (CET).

Our new digital chapter “Classical Music Trends in…” aims at exploring the latest developments in artists & repertoire, trends in audience development and engagement as well as the way financial models are currently changing in an extremely dynamic context.

For our fourth panel “Classical Music Trends in Italy, Spain and Portugal”, we will focus on these markets. Our guests will talk about the new stakes that their professions face, in the context of the sanitary crisis, as well as their strategies to answer those issues. They will then discuss the cultural changes in those three countries.

The panel will be presented in English and moderated by Eric Denut (adviser for Maestro Arts/Universal Music Publishing, Former Delegate for Music at the French Ministry of Culture) and will reunite the following specialists:

  • Antonio Pacheco, artistic Director of la Casa da Musica (PT)
  • Cecilia Balestra, artistic Director of Milano Musica (IT)
  • Enrique Rubio, CEO of the IMusica agency (ES)
  • Robert Brufau, CEO of the Auditori in Barcelone (ES)

More names could be announced in the next days.

Since November 1, 2020, Le Bureau Export has been part of le Centre national de la musique (CNM), a French state organization under the supervision of the French Ministry of Culture.
