Europe | Music Moves Europe Talent Awards nominate two made-in-France artists

Two France-produced artists – Crystal Murray & Lous and the Yakuzas – are part of the 16 nominees for Music Moves Europe Talent Awards (MMETA), that were announced during Reeperbahn Festival.

MMETA (Music Moves Europe Talents Awards) rewards European artists with a strong potential, in order to accelerate their international development. This annuel EU prize for popular and contemporary music co-funded by the Creative Europe programme celebrates emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow.

All winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on January 15 during Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS). All 16 nominees will be rewarded with promotion support and a performance at ESNS. The jury will select 8 winners from these 16. Each winner receives a prize worth €10.000 euros to be spent towards promoting their international careers.

Two France-produced artists are in this list: Crystal Murray (Because Music / Corida) and Lous and the Yakuza (Sony Music France).

Vote for them from 18 September to January 7 via the official Music Moves Europe Talent Awards website. The winner of the Public Choice Award 2021 receives an additional cash prize of €5.000.

IN line with this approach, the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards, co-funded by the Creative Europe programme, the EU funding programme for the culture and audiovisual sector, wants to contribute to the creativity, diversity and competitiveness of the music sector in Europe.
