World | An international tour for Fatoumata Diawara

Malian artist Fatoumata Diawara is about to start her 2020 tour, going through Europe and North America.

2019 was a year of international acknowledgement for Fatoumata Diawara (3ème Bureau/Wagram Music/W Spectacle). After two nominations for Grammy Awards 2019, within the category Best Dance Recording for the duet  “Ultimatum” with the british electro band Disclosure and within the category Best World Music Album for her album Fenfo, she received a Songlines Music Award for that album, within the category Africa and Middle East.

She performed “Nterini”, the main track of Fenfo, during a session on the music promotion plateform Colorsxstudios. The video has currently more than 502,000 views.

invited for the 36th edition of Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, last June, Fatoumata Diawara 2020 tour will go through UK, USA, Canada, la Norway, Sweden or Germany among others.
