What the France Festival line-up
The songwriter and producer Emil Wilk and his project M.I.L.K. grew up on Bornholm, a small Danish volcanic island in the middle of the Baltic Sea. As part of Copenhagen’s cultural scene, he earned his living as a director of documentaries, children’s films, commercials and music videos. With his first two EPs, however, M.I.L.K. has recorded 15 million streams worldwide so far. International tastemakers like NME, CLASH, Hype Machine, Inrocks, NOWNESS and others celebrate his music. Now the sun-soaked new single “Summer Freckles” is released with a stylish video.
After the release of his ambitious, multifaceted album “Elasticity” in 2016, Buvette now returns as a convinced minimalist. The young Swiss has a desire to share things with us: through his collaboration with the producer Apollo Noir, one of the latest discoveries of the indie label Tigersushi, he has cast his project in a new light. The EP “Life”, released in March 2019, hangs like a veil over the sculpture of what will eventually become the new album to be released next. The new single “True Stories” already offers a foretaste of it. Buvette lives in his own continuum, expands time for all eternity and sublimates the entire space in the process.
Suzane (electro chanson)
Suzane describes herself as “a teller of true stories on an electronic original soundtrack”. She is the voice of the lucid and free youth – using words and her body as means of expressions. Suzane is a free spirit navigating through the electro-chanson scene.
Only 3 tracks have been unveiled and Suzane already counts more than 5 millions streams, up to 90 dates in France – including reknowed festivals such as Solidays or Francofolies de la Rochelle. She has toured in Japan and China and as supported the likes of Thérapie Taxi, L’Or du Commun or Feder.
Le Bureau Export is once again expecting numerous representatives from the music and media industries to attend the industry reception.
RSVP please by 27/11/2019 by email to Marie Pichard for the B2B networking reception (28/11 at 19:00) and the concerts (concerts start punctually on 28/11 at 20:00).
What the France
As streaming breathes new life into the musical economy, Le Bureau Export decided to develop a tool specifically adapted to these new modes of consumption and to create a dedicated website, playlists and branded events to present the most exciting new music coming out of the French music scene.
