North America | The Inspector Cluzo announce a new acoustic album and a North American tour

The French rock band The Inspector Cluzo is about to release an acoustic album in January 2020. This fall, the duo will be touring North America for about thirty dates.

Made up of Laurent Lacrouts (guitar and voice) and Mathieu Jourdain (drums), the French duo The Inspector Cluzo launched its career with the EP Cluzo and a first eponym album released in 2008. The album received good reviews from the international press including in Japan, where the band was invited at the Fuji Rock Festival.

The universe of the French duo blends funk, rock and metal. Its specificity also emerges with the absence of a bass player.

Troughout the years, they gave 1.000 shows in 60 different countries and in many festivals: Dour (BE), entaport (SK), Strawberry (CN), Sziget (HU), South by Southwest (USA)… This year, the band played at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chili and Brazil and have been praised by the critics and the public, who appreciate their energetic performance.

“Brothers In Ideals”: an acoustic project

The Inspect Cluzo has supported its latest album We The People Of The Soil with 108 dates within a year. They have been on tour with Clutch and EELS. The french duo will release a new acoustic album entitled BROTHERS IN IDEALS – We the people of the Soil Unplugged on the 17th January 2020. It has been produced and mixed by the American producteur Vance Powell, winner of 6 Grammy Awards.

The first extract “The Globalisation Blues” has been released on Friday, the 13th September.
