12/09/2019 | Le Bureau Export Paris

Germany | France @ Reeperbahn Festival 2019 : the programme (Hamburg – 18/21 September)

France will once again be well represented at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, which kicks off on Wednesday 18th September, with around 60 French professionals making the trip (see the delegates base to access contact details).  Germany is the fourth largest music industry market and is also the number one export destination for the French music industry. These are just some of the reasons that Reeperbahn and Le Bureau Export have built strong ties since the first edition of the festival in 2006. Now in its 14th year, with many French-produced artists, and moments for professional networking, Le Bureau Export represents the vitality and drive of French music production.

Meet the French at #RBF Conference !

Le Bureau Export will be organising two networking session formats, for international professionals to meet Le Bureau Export members:

At the conference this year, 10 French speakers will participate in 13 different keynotes and panels: ALEXANDER HOLLAND (Chief Content & Strategy Officer / Deezer), ARTHUR BAUX (Manager Hydrogen Business Unit / Engie), CORINNE SADKI (Head of Research & Digital / Le Bureau Export), DEBORAH PAPIERNIK (SVP New Business / Ubisoft), NAJMA SOUROQUE (Head of Sustainability & Think Tank / We Love Green), MARIE SABOT (Director / We Love Green), (PEGGY SZKUDLAREK (Agent / Dif Prod), SYLVAIN MORTON (Director of Distribution / Idol), YANNICK FAGE  (Global Classical & Jazz Editor / Deezer) and YONA AZOULAY (Music Supervisor / Le Sparkle).

For the second year, Le Bureau Export is teaming with Reeperbahn Festival for the francophone part of the International Music Journalism Award (IMJA). After a call for projects was launched in May, 28 articles were studied by the French jury, presided over by Bertrand Dicale (France Info / NewsTank) and composed of Justine Debicki (Boogie Drugstore) and Laura Leishman (Laura Leishman Podcast). The French jury gave awards to Adrien Durand and Robin Ecoeur. The ceremony will take place during Reeperbahn Festival 2019; more details here.

Organised in collaboration with EMEE (European Music Exporters Exchange), the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards (MMETA) were conceived to help boost the international development of young European musicians with a strong potential. The nominees for the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards will be announced at Reeperbahn Festival 2019. The annual awards ceremony will celebrate emerging artists who represent and define European music of today, and tomorrow.
