World | CloZee among the 10 most exciting new names in Bass Music by Mixmag

CloZee is selected by Mixmag as one of the “10 most exciting new names in bass music” with her female fellows: Mollie Collins, Jessica Audiffred, GG Magree, Wenzday, Godlands, Ducky, WHIPPED CREAM, Mantra and Huxley Anne.

Mixmag was launched in 1982 in the UK and is one of the most influencial magazines specializing in electronic music. It covers various electronic music events, reports on album releases and club parties. Last month, it listed 10 of the most exciting new artists in bass music: a female-only selection to reveal the lack of women representation on this music scene. Among these new talents, CloZee (Klakson) is the unique made-in-France artist.

CloZee, from Toulouse to Coachella

Young producer from Toulouse, CloZee has found her own place in the international glitch community, eventhough she is not well-known in her homecountry. She created her musical indentity by combining subtle and dynamic melodies, world music instrumentals and strong basslines. As a young artist, she already has an impressive professional background: she won the prize of the Best Newcomer at UK Glitch-Hop Awards in 2013, released a dozen EPs and performed more than 300 concerts (in USA, India, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, Costa Rica…).

The rising star of electronic music will perform at Coachella Festival – for the second time in her carreer – to promote her latest album Evasion, released in October 2018. She is taking her world tour to the USA and to Europe, making the bill of famous festivals such as Lollapalooza in Chicago.
