World | Quatuor Arod announces new upcoming international tour

For its new tour, the young French quatuor asserts its strong international exposure with 36 dates abroad between November 2018 and June 2019.

Created in 2013 and represented by l’Agence, Quatuor Arod – composed of Jordan Victoria (violin), Alexandre Vu (violin), Tanguy Parisot (alto) and Samy Rachid (cello) – emerges as one of the most recognized young French quatuors on the international stage.

Winner of the First Prize from the prestigious ARD contest in Munich in September 2016. They had already won the First Prize from the Carl Nielsen contest in Copenhagen in 2015 and the First Prize from the european contest organized by FNAPEC in 2014. In 2017, the quatuor is designated as BBC New Generation Artist for seasons 2017 to 2019 as well as ECHO Rising Star for season 2018/2019.

Quatuor Arod has chosen to put a focus on the development of its international network early on in its career. A choice that proved to be a winning strategy for the quatuor that solidifies its notoriety on European stages and even begins to reach Asia and America. From November 2018 to June 2019, the quatuor can already boast a total of 36 international dates between Europe and North America.

Listen to the quatuor’s debut album dedicated to German composer Mendelssohn (Erato Warner Classics, Fall 2017), and make sure to catch them on stage around the globe.
