Moonlight Benjamin is among the 3 first ‘made in France’ WOMEX names. Catch her in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in October 2018.
The Haitian singer and voodoo priestress is currently on European roads to share her voodoo blues rock. Her projects blends together Caribbean melodies, powerful voice and the blues-rock rhythms of Matthis Pascaud – topped with psychedelic guitars and groovy bass lines.
Her latest album Siltane, published in march 2018, has been critically acclaimed in France – caughting the attention of medias such as Europe 1, l’Obs, le Télégramme or RFI.
Created in 1994 by Piranha, it welcomes yearly more than 2600 professionals around conferences, fair booths, movie screenings and concerts. With more than 300 artists from 90 countries, WOMEX is the showcase for folk, root, urban, electronic & jazz music. Le Bureau Export will be at WOMEX, in parternship with Business France.
