World | Laure Briard goes Brazilian with “Cravado”

Toulouse-born Laure Briard has just released the visuals for her latest single “Cravado“.

The song is a lo-fi bossa nova anthem, recorded in Sao Paulo with Brazilian musicians from Boogarins. Sung entirely in portuguese, it’s a breezy pop tribute to Brazilian music, taken from her forthcoming EP Coração Louco – thought of as “a love story between a girl and a band, between France and Brazil.

The effort has been well received my media accross the world, but especially in Brazil with articles on Trabalho Sujo, Revista o Grito!or Monkey Buzz.

Elsewhere, it has caught the attention of Gorilla vs Bear (USA) and Warszawa (Japan)

Coração Louco will be out soon on Midnight Special Records.
