Scandinavia | The French Express Tour takes you up North (May 29/June 1)
The French Express Tour is a brand new tour with ‘Made in France’ artists. The first edition will take place in Scandinavia – Norway, Sweden & Denmark – at the end of May.
Since 2013, Le Bureau Export has supported French artists willing to tour in Scandinavia. In partnership with Swedish promoter Monstera, l’Institut Français in Paris and Instituts Français in Danmark, in Norway & in Sweden, it has enabled artists such as Owlle (2013), Christine and the Queens (2014), La Femme (2015), Broken Back (2016), Superpoze (2017) or lastly Juveniles (2017) to perform several dates in these three countries.
In 2017, the tour has undercovered a rebranding and becomes FRENCH EXPRESS. The aim is to introduce Scandinavian audiences to a double bill featuring upcoming ‘Made in France’ artists.
Following our call for proposal at the end of 2017, the two ‘Made in France’ electronic artists selected by Swedish promoter Monstera are Rone and Acid Arab. Monstera is coordinating the first spring edition of French Express, dedicated to electronic music.
Both Rone and Acid Arab will perform in a Stockholm club on Wednesday, the 30th of May; in Oslo on Thursday, the 31st of May – this date is in partnership with Oslo World festival.
The two acts will also be in Copenhagen for the Distortion Festival: Rone will perform on Tuesday, the 29th of May as part of the festival’s club show warm-up; Acid Arab are to play on the Circle stage on Friday, the 1st of June.
A second edition of the French Express Tour will take place this Autumn and will be dedicated to pop, rock and urban music.
