USA | Alexandre Desplat wins a second Golden Globe

French composer Alexandre Desplat has won a second Golden Globe. Nominated in the Best Original Score category, Desplat won over frequent nominees Hans Zimmers and John Williams.
After a first Golden Globe in 2017 for “Le Voile des Illusions” by John Curran, he has now been awarded for his score of “La Forme de l’Eau” by Guillermo Del Toro.

In 2015, Alexandre Desplat has won an Oscar for “The Grand Budapest Hotel” by Wes Anderson. Abroad, hee is one of the most awarded French composer – with Maurice Jarre and Michel Legrand.
