UK | Romain Leleu to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in February

Trumpeter Romain Leleu will make his UK debut with François Dumont on piano,  in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room on the 12th of February.

This date is part of his international tour going on from January to August 2018. The tour will pass by Germany, the UK, Belgium, Taïwan and Sweden.

Awarded “instrumental soloist revelation” by  Les Victoires de la Musique in 2009 – French equivalent of the Classic BRIT Award, Romain Leleu is regarded as one of the best performers of his generation.
In 2010, he has also created Ensemble Convergences –  bringing the trumpet together with a string quintet.  It is composed of audacious musicians who are also members of some of the finest french orchestras. With Ensemble Convergences, Romain Leleu is renewing the recital formula, taking away the barriers of style and period.
In Chamber Music, he often performs with Thierry Escaich, Adam Laloum, and his brother Thomas Leleu
In November 2017, he has released his latest album Vocalises with organist Thierry Escaich (Label : Aparté / Little Tribeca).
