This off Classical:NEXT Showcase features Chloé – AKA Chloé Thévenin – and percussionist Vassilena Serafimova joining forces.

Chloé is a French composer and producer of iconic electronic music; Vassilena Serafimova is a talented percussionist. The duo has been trained, trusting their respective talents to propose a rich live show of their universe: a hypnotic fable – constituted of the use of pulsations, a play on the tone and a work on the transformation of sound around their own repertoire, inspired by the pioneers of minimalist music of the 70s.
They met on the occasion of the Variations project, a web live series of five 30-minute-long episodes, which bring electronic music producers together with a classical musician to perform their own reinterpretation of a selection from the classical music canon.

Free spirited pioneers of contemporary music, Accroche Note members explore a brand-new register with KLANG4, a concert developed in cooperation with Pablo Valentino (sampler and turn tables) and Yérri-Gaspar Hummel (electronics). This surprising association will allow the interpreters to revisit the contemporary repertoire.

By combining vocal textures, instruments and new technologies, KLANG4 weaves its web of sound beyond generic limits and boundaries. Each concert will give the quartet an opportunity to unleash their musical creativity and allow them to discover original sound colors. Prick up your ears!
